LocTeam organization consists of a team of translators, proofreaders, engineers, testers, editors, graphic designers, project managers plus a network of some 1,500 experienced and qualified linguistic specialists, from which 100 work with us on a regular basis. Meet our management team.

Magda Garcia Masana

Magda founded LocTeam in 1990. She has led LocTeam to its position as the dominant reference company for the Macintosh platform and has launched the company’s publishing business. Magda is now focused on corporate marketing and strategic market development.

Josefina Castells

Josefina is an accomplished localization manager with more than 24 years of experience. She joined LocTeam in 2001 as project management director and was appointed CEO in 2003. Before joining LocTeam, she worked at Apple Computer, where she was localization manager for France, Germany, Italy, Portugal and Spain. She led the European development for the Mac OS X localization.

Giovanni Antonelli

Giovanni joined LocTeam in 2001 as translator and quality tester and was appointed Quality Manager in 2003. He spent six years in management positions. He managed key projects as iPhone localization into 14 languages including Arabic and Hebrew. He was appointed Deputy General Manager in 2008.

Ester Garcia Llevet

Ester joined LocTeam in 1994 and has since managed on-line help, translation, and desktop publishing departments. She was appointed localization manager in 2004 and Project Management Director in 2008. She holds a Bachelor's degree in translation and interpreting.

Ana de Puig

Ana joined LocTeam in 2005 as an editor for our Publishing department. She was appointed Managing Editor in 2009. In her new position, she manages around 150 book titles per year, including multilingual productions published simultaneously and limited editions. She holds a Bachelor's degree in translation and interpreting, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Literary Translation.

Laura Orfila

Laura joined LocTeam in 2004 as Finance Administrator. Previously, she was an Accountant Manager at BuscPerson System from 1999 through 2004. Laura is responsible for continuous tracking of every project and providing the customer with project status and actuals reporting, working in general transaction processing areas such as Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. She holds a degree in Business Administration.
