LocTeam localizes its first application for Android into English, German and Spanish

LocTeam was selected by an important developer of applications for iPhone and other smartphones due to its vast experience in iOS localization and its subject matter expertise in translating life style content. Localization had to be divided into two different processes. One was the technical translation of the software itself and the other one the translation of the content. Since the content of the application was cooking, and especially recipes, the translation was done by an expert in cookery books and proofread by a second specialist. On the technical side, our in-house team took profit of the processes established for iOS translation and could adapt them to the needs of this application.

Android is an operating system for mobile devices based on Linux, a completely open platform, which lets developers create new mobile applications with Android SDK (software development kit) using the Java programming language.
